GET IN MY BELLLLAY!
Words cannot express my insatiable desire for this burrito. One of the great disappointments I’ve encountered in New York City is it’s disconnect from fantastic Mexican cuisine. Yes, there’s Chipotle. No, that doesn’t count. You want an authentic burrito fiesta in your mouth? Go to the parking lot of the Guereville Safeway in California, and you will fine the holy grail of all taco trucks. I literally finished downing one of these bad boys (whilst enjoying a magnificent view of the Russian River from my porch), and fifteen minutes later WENT BACK to town to buy another one. There are witnesses folks. The oozing cheese, warm pinto beans, fresh guacamole, and impeccably spicy salsa all meld together inside of the perfect tortilla…oh god I can’t continue. I’m 3,000 miles away and it pains me too much…

NOTHING is better than ice cream.
Perhaps I should say that nothing is better then freshly churned butter pecan ice cream made from organically produced whole milk at Buttonwood Farm. Tucked away near New London, Connecticut, Buttonwood Farm Ice Creamery is the epitome of deliciousness. With a list of flavors so long that my eyes started to blur, they offer up creamy concoctions in the biggest homemade waffle cone I’ve ever seen! Simple, and simply done right, this ice cream cone alone was worth the two hour train ride into the Connecticut countryside. Take note: if you want the scrumptious waffle cone you MUST order two scoops. I personally don’t see this as a misfortune. I got the INCREDIBLE butter pecan (my all-time favorite), and also took a lick at the Jungle George. What’s that, you ask? Banana ice cream with walnuts and chocolate chunks. BANANA ICE CREAM WITH WALNUTS AND CHOCOLATE CHUNKS I SAY!!!! ‘Twas good.
